The Rayment 6 x 7cm camera is designed to bring large format photography to those who do not wish to go as far as 5 x 4in. It is a scaled down version of its larger counterpart and possesses all of its features. The front has rising, falling and cross movements as well as swings in both horizontal and vertical planes. The back is of the reversing type and also swings in horizontal and vertical planes. This last movement uses the same type ball and socket pivot as the larger 5 x 4in version. Like its 5 x 4in stable mate the position of the back is adjustable on the base plate. For wide angle work it can be brought forwards and the front can be slid backwards so that the camera can achieve balance in the relation to the tripod mounting position and to avoid the baseboard obstructing the field of view. The maximum extension from the film plane to front lens panel is 230mm and the minimum extension is 55mm. The camera weighs about 1.6kg without a lens or film back.It measures overall when closed 5.5 x 6.5 x 4ins.
